THEODORE E. FRAIN MINNEAPOLIS - The funeral for Theodore E. Frain, 69, rural Minneapolis, will be at 2 pm Sunday at the Haley funeral home, Minneapolis, the Rev. Merlin Norman officiating. Burial will be in Highland cemetery, Minneapolis. Mr. Frain died Thursday at Asbury hospital. He was born Sept. 7, 1905, at Culver. He later moved to rural Minneapolis, where he lived and farmed most of his life. Surviving are the widow, Doris, of the home; 2 sons, Richard, Minneapolis, and Robert, Clearwater; 4 brothers, Charles, Omaha, Neb.; Garold, Salina; Lawrence, Culver, and Eugene, Forsyth, Mo.; and 6 grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to the Cancer fund. Friends may call at the funeral home. THEODORE E. FRAIN Theodore E. Frain , son of T. E. And Lavina Frain was born in Culver on Sept. 7, 1905 and passed away Thursday, Jan. 23, 1975 at Asbury Hospital in Salina at the age of 69. Ted was raised on a farm east of Culver and received his education in Culver. On May 3, 1930 he was united in marriage to Doris J. Nelson of Brookville. To this union two sons were born, Robert of Clearwater and Richard of Minneapolis. In 1933 Ted and Doris moved to a farm south of Minneapolis and have resided there ever since. He was active in local affairs all his life including serving as Township trustee and as a member and officer of the Ottawa County Fair Association. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed collecting antiques as a hobby. He is survived by his wife Doris and sons Robert and Richard, four brothers, Charles of Omaha, Garold of Salina, Lawrence of Culver and Eugene of Forsyth, Mo. And six grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 26 at 2:00 p.m. at the Haley Funeral Home in Minneapolis. The Rev. Merlin Norman officiated. Organist was Mrs. Bill Hemenway. Singer was Mrs. Victor Muller. Pallbearers were Elwood Miller, Charles Carlson, Victor Muller, Richard Johnson, F. W. Johnson and Louis Hendrixson. Internment was in Highland cemetery. |
